*Please note that keyboard and mouse functionality varies from game to game, as some games may only offer partial support. You’ll know if your game only offers partial support, as after connecting your keyboard and mouse, you’re still required to use your controller to navigate other menus within the game as well as operating your Console’s Home Screen* (e.g. Roblox)
On Xbox One & Series X|S
Below is a list of 10 Xbox games that offer full keyboard and mouse support:
Minecraft
Fortnite
5 Nights At Freddy’s 1,2,3,4
Halo Infinite
Halo: Masterchief Collection
Sea Of Thieves
Asphalt 9
Cyberpunk 2077
World of Tanks
Sniper Elite 5
Setting up your Keyboard and Mouse with the Xbox:
Plug in your keyboard and mouse into the USB ports on your console. You should then be able to navigate through your home screen with the arrows on your keyboard. Next, load into the game and start playing with the standard keyboard and cursor controls specific to the game.
N/B – the controls can be tailored to your needs separately within the game settings.
On PS4 & PS5
PS5 games that support keyboard and mice are limited, leaving PS5 gamers with few options to choose from – seeing as the current selection of games that partially support a keyboard and mouse mainly consist of PS4 games that are also backwards compatible on PS5. It is important to note that any limitation isn’t necessarily with the keyboard or mice themselves, but rather due to game developers not offering full support with keyboard and mice across main gameplay titles.
We’ve compiled a list of 10 PS4 games that allow for backwards compatibility with the PS5 and that will offer keyboard and mouse support:
Call Of Duty: Warzone
Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare
Fortnite
DayZ
Warframe
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
Final Fantasy XIV
Neverwinter
Overwatch
