Sony announce the redesign of PS4 next gen console

Sony is set to release their latest development in hardware after redesigning the next gen console. The latest revelation has been announced just days after the annual E3 convention. They have declared there will be a new console which comes kitted with 1TB of storage as well as some minor tweaks to the consoles design.

The company have labelled the console the ‘ultimate player edition’ as it offers players twice the amount of storage as the existing PS4. This allows gamers to download more, extend gameplay with more add-on content and save and share even more of their best gaming highlights.

There is also a slight redesign to the console itself,  as it comes ten percent lighter and eight percent more power efficient than before. Furthermore, another notable change is that the glossy top exterior has been replaced with a more casual matte finish.

The highly sought after console will be available to buy from July 15th across select European and PAL territories.
