PlayStation streams are available during E3.

If you are not attending E3 and feel like you are missing out – don’t worry there are live streams which will make you feel as if you are there. The most anticipated gaming event of the year is coming soon; Sony goes hand – in – hand with the event to showcase ALL of the latest PlayStation developments. The conference will take place on Tuesday 12th June at 2:00 am BST for everyone in the UK.

Why should I watch the conference?

If you are a PlayStation fan, then that is reason enough! And also because the conference offers exclusive details about what games are currently in development or will be released in the same or following year. So far; Sony has stated that they will be focusing on four first-party games; The Last of Us Part 2, Death Stranding, Marvel’s Spider-Man and Ghost of Tsushima.

But if you’re expecting or hopeful about new consoles being unveiled or released; then we are sad to say you will be sorely disappointed. The Chairman of Sony Interactive Worldwide Studios – Shawn Layden confirmed in the PlayStation Blogcast; there will be NO new hardware announcements this year.
However, this means that there will be a more in-depth focus on what’s going on behind the scenes! The conference itself is likely to include gameplay presentations and talks with development teams. Even though these games are the only ones that will be appearing at the conference – it doesn’t mean that’s all that Sony has planned; they intend to showcase third-party studios to present trailers and gameplay with an apparent focus on indie titles (according to Layden).

When is Sony holding its conference?

Sony will be holding its E3 2018 press conference this coming Monday at 6 pm PT / 9 pm ET but there will also be quite a few announcements made prior leading up to the event revealing a new PS4 game with PSVR support this Wednesday. Then on Thursday, we will see a release date for an Upcoming Worldwide Studios Title – followed by a new PS4 Game on Friday.
As for the weekend; you can look forward to the announcement of a new PSVR Game on Saturday and then for Sunday – we should hopefully get an eagerly anticipated game which will come to the PSVR.
This is unique for Sony and is definitely building up more anticipation for the fans! Which is great.

PlayStation Experience Theaters:

As of Monday the 11th June; PlayStation Experience is returning across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and new this year – Chile!
Those that will be attending will receive an exclusive poster and more goodies! As well as a digital gift basket via the Experience PlayStation App; but you are best downloading it before you arrive if you want to redeem as soon as possible.
Where can I watch the stream?
You can watch the live streams on PlayStation’s website, PlayStation’s Twitch Channel and Facebook page or the official PlayStation’s Youtube channel.
We hope that you don’t miss out on PlayStation’s E3 conference and enjoy either attending or viewing the stream!
