Fortnite Chat Not Working

Are you having trouble with your Mic. when using the Fortnite game? If you have checked that your 4Gamers Headset is working correctly by trying it in another device, ensuring that the Mic. mute is set to the OFF position, the issue could be with your Fortnite settings.

In order to resolve the issue, please find below a list of instructions to get your headset back to working:

1. Please load Fortnite on your PlayStation and at the ‘LOBBY’ section, and navigate to the three bars on the top-right part of the screen to access your MENU.

2. Select the SETTINGS option (this should look like a gear/cog symbol) and then access your AUDIO options by navigating towards the speaker icon along the top part of the screen.

3. VOICE CHAT option – switch this back to OFF and then ON again and then switch your VOICE CHAT METHOD to PUSH TO TALK then back to ‘OPEN MIC’

You setting page should look like this:

Once this has been done, press APPLY changes and head back into the game and test that the mic is working by talking to other players and seeing whether you can be heard.

Ideally the mic should be working but if it’s not, then please try exiting the game, powering down your console and then turning it back on again and going back into the game, and seeing whether this makes any difference.
