Call of Duty Goes Extra-Terrestrial

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, scheduled this week for a November release, is so massive in scale that even Earth itself can not contain it.  For the first time, a CoD game will see players launched into space itself.

In the 13 years since Call of Duty first hit consoles, the legendary franchise has put its name to over 20 titles. From World War II to Vietnam and beyond, CoD has consistently brought the modern world’s most notorious conflicts to life in video games, revolutionising the action genre all the while.

Both 2014’s Advanced Warfare and 2015’s Black Ops III were set in the future, putting players in the 2050s and 2060s respectively. In taking the fight beyond Earth’s atmosphere and out into the solar system, Infinite Warfare marks yet another departure for the series.

The developers at Infinity Ward have moved to assure fans that the game’s ambitious setting will not detract from the gritty realism that has come to mark CoD‘s signature gameplay style. Infinite Warfare  will have everything that diehard fans of its predecessors have come to love and expect.

Prepare for launch, November 4th.
