FAQs

Q: Should Mic be ON or OFF on Volume Control Switch?
A: For those with the older versions, the MIC MUTE needs to be in the OFF position according to the writing on the control switch, as ON would mean the mic’s been muted.

On the newer versions, the switch should be positioned at the MIC symbol without a line going through, thus reflecting the mic is active and in use.

Q: What is the approx. Cable Length on the headsets?
A: The cable length for our wired gaming headsets are 1.2 meters in length.

Q: What is the manufacturer’s Guarantee?
A: All of our products come with a year’s manufacturer’s warranty from date of purchase.

Q: The pictures show them without wires but they’re not Wireless?
A: To showcase our products in the best way, we have cut the full wire from the image on the packaging. However all headsets should be expected to be WIRED unless the product packaging states otherwise, i.e. WIRELESS.

Q: Is my product compatible?
A: Platform compatibility can be found at the bottom of the packaging at the front of the box.

For 3rd party controller suitability, please refer to the manufacturer of the controller.

Q: Why can’t I hear both game sound and chat?
A: If you have a mono-headset, you’ll only hear chat audio. However if it’s a stereo headset then you should be able to hear both chat and game sound simultaneously. If you are experiencing this problem, get in touch with our support team and we will help you through this.

Q: Why is the sound coming through the TV?
A: Sound coming through the TV still is a common issue because controller ports cannot seem to distinguish when a headset/mic has been connected and thus the need to having to reduce the volume on the TV manually.

To fix this issue, use your TV remote to lower your TV VOL all the way down to zero and the sound should then only be coming through the headset itself.

Q: Are these headsets suitable for Conference Calls?
A: Both our 4GAMERS Chat and Stereo Gaming headset range are great for conference calling. If you are experiencing issues with Conference Calling, please visit the support article here – Conference Calling Support for assistance.

Q: Are these headsets noise cancelling?
A: Our range of headsets do not feature noise cancelling functionality. However, from feedback on our headsets, we are often complimented on the lack of “sound leakage” from our gaming headsets.

Q: Where can I buy replacement parts?
A: Unfortunately, we don’t currently have a platform in which you can purchase replacement parts. If you have a query on a broken/missing part, please contact us and we will look to resolve this for you, if possible.

Q: How do I know what’s compatible?
A: The front of any packaging states product compatibility and so it’s important to read this before making your purchase, to avoid buying the wrong product.

Q: Do the 4GAMERS charging cables allow for data transfer or just charging?
A: This is only as advertised – for charging. Please refer to the product manual for instructions.

Q: Can I just leave the docks plugged in?
A: Provided the docks were connected to charge before putting the console on standby, you should leave them on to charge your controllers – however once the LEDs signal full charge on the docks, it is recommended to unplug the dock after use.

Q: Is the 4GAMERS logo on the docks supposed to be pulsing?
A: Yes, the pulsing of the 4GAMERS logo on the docks is an actual feature. The flashing simply indicates the dock is connected to a power source and is active. So don’t panic!

Q: Will the 4GAMERS charging cables work with my phone?
A: As the manufacturers, we only advise you use the 4GAMERS charging cables as advertised – for use with their respective consoles/controllers depending on your chosen platform.

It’s important to note that the previous GEN charging solutions are not interchangeable with the new GEN.

Which is why it’s important to check the product packaging on all products, for the listed compatibility.

Q: What do the icons on the SP-C100 dual charging dock mean?
A: When the LED is solid red, that signals charging.  Once charging is complete, the LED will change to solid BLUE.

N/B – Across all PS4 and PS5 Charging solutions – single docks, dual docks, docks with a headset stand; as well as the battery packs, the LED feature remains the same. In that SOLID RED indicates charging and SOLID BLUE means fully charged.

Q: Do the PS4 Play & Charge cables work with PS3?
A: No, the SP-C10 and any other PS4 charging cables will only work as advertised – for use with the PS4.

Q: What type of cables are the SP-C10?
A: The SP-C10 is made up of x2 Premium Braided Play & Charge cables, with USB to Micro USB connection.

Q: Does the SP-C100 Dual Charging Dock charge the controllers from the bottom port?
A: We can confirm that the Stealth SP-C100 PS4 Twin Charging Dock does charge from the port at the bottom of the controller.

Q: Does the PlayStation need to be switched on to charge the controllers?
A: Yes as they’ll need to be connected to a power source but once connected, putting the PS on standby/Rest Mode will still supply charge.

Q: Will the 4GAMERS PS4 charging solutions charge 3rd party controllers or is it just for Official Licensed ones?
A: Our 4GAMERS PS4 charging solutions will only charge officially licensed controllers.

We cannot say the same for any 3rd party controllers as 3rd party brands have their own compatibility preferences so it’s just worth double-checking with your controller’s manufacturer on what devices are compatible with your controller.

Q: Why is the SP-C10 V charging cable not registering on my PC?
A: As per the product manual, the cable is only for use as advertised – for charging via the PS5 console, as opposed to the PC.

Q: What do the LEDs mean on the SP-C100 V?
A: On the face of the dock, the white 4GAMERS logo will flash to signal connection to a power source. As for the battery LEDs on the dock, RED signals charging, solid BLUE means FULLY charged.

As for the 360 light strip that pulses around the base, this is just an added effect. It’ll pulse orange once the PS5 is put to standby/Rest Mode and will continue to supply power.

Otherwise once charging is complete or if the PS5 is still in use, it’ll pulse blue. Both states of which are acceptable – the LED strip doesn’t signal the dock to be faulty, so no need to worry!

Q: Can the LED strip on the base be turned off? As it keeps pulsing when charging the controllers overnight and can be quite distracting when trying to sleep.
A: Unfortunately, the LED strip cannot be turned off nor changed.

Q: Will the 4GAMERS PS5 charging solutions charge 3rd party controllers or is it just for Official Licensed ones?
A: Our 4GAMERS PS5 charging solutions will only charge officially licensed controllers. We cannot say the same for any 3rd party controllers as 3rd party brands have their own compatibility preferences so it’s just worth double-checking with your controller’s manufacturer on what devices are compatible with your controller.
