For us who view mountains from the foothills or stick to marked trails, it is difficult to truly feel the intensity and uncertainty that climbers experience, especially in films and documentaries. That is where Cairn comes in, a game that through its very gameplay wants to convey the lifestyle of climbers and allow us to experience it without life-threatening danger.

When I launched the new Gears of War Reloaded, I felt like I was doing something I shouldn't be doing. You know that feeling like everyone is watching you because you're doing something weird, like doing a wee in the pool.

One city won't have all the resources at its disposal unless it's abnormally well-positioned, so it's inevitable and necessary to establish trade with others.

With slightly better gameplay and story, South of Midnight could have been the year's hit. Or, at the very least, a cult classic.
