Painkiller, A Game That Gives More Pain Than It Relieves

A game where the pixel graphics and the limitations of old school shooters work in the game's favor. This, however, is not that. Even if you have never played a Ninja Gaiden game, you will quickly find your way around because the tutorial is excellent, and later you have many opportunities to practice specific moves with your sensei.


Shinobi Art of Vengeance, A Nostalgia-Inducing Masterpiece
The mere mention of the word Shinobi brings two concepts to mind for the older generation. Either it's a synonym for ninja or a game from the SEGA Master System. I'm sure that for most, a cranial flash from the 90s immediately lights up when arcades were temples, and anyone who could throw a shuriken from half a meter away became a local hero.

When I launched the new Gears of War Reloaded, I felt like I was doing something I shouldn't be doing. You know that feeling like everyone is watching you because you're doing something weird, like doing a wee in the pool.
