4 out of 5 stars - Amazon 07/02/2012. 'Officially Licensed' doesn't always mean 'good'. In this case however, 4gamers have produced a good quality product at an excellent price point. On the outside, the overall feel is a mixture between soft rubber and material. The blue panel (and I can only assume the red and black cases are the same) has a nylon-ish type feel and the front of the case has a nice rubber Vita badge. At a glance, this could easily be an official Sony product, it really is good quality all round. Let's look inside: The zip design allows the case to open fully and holds the Vita in the base. The zip puller (is there a proper word for that?!) is a nice shape and has a PlayStation logo on one side and a 4gamers one on the other (both are perfectly discreet). There is material around the inner edge of the bottom section which protects the Vita from the zip. Good thinking! To cover the Vita there is a flap with a soft microfibre type feel to it. The other (top) side of this is the section where you can store five games. I imagine you COULD keep memory cards in here too. If you've got the money to buy several memory cards of course! Finally, the top flap of the case has an elasticated mesh compartment which is kept fixed in the middle by a small velcro patch. You could store more games or a set of in-ear headphones quite safely in there. The mesh isn't baggy and it won't get in your way if you don't intend to use it. As for the wrist strap, well, it's kind of pointless for me but it can be tucked inside the case although it does mean you can't completely zip the case closed tight. I'd have liked the option to remove it entirely but it's not hugely bulky and you could easily remove it with scissors or a craft knife if you really want to. On the whole, I'm delighted with this case as I wanted something to fully enclose my Vita but I didn't want a pouch which you have to slide the console in and out of. £9.99 from Amazon is an absolute bargain. The case feels and looks great, inside and out.
