January 2012 I chose this one over a similar priced Turtle Beach. Knowing the reputation of a Turtle Beach some may say that was a risk. Well I can confirm it was a great decision and I’m extremely happy with this product. My friend also owns the same one, he advised me of the 4gamers range. The sound and clarity even when I’m just using it for game music and not voice is so much more clear playing through this headset than through my TV. I get to hear all the sounds I may miss otherwise. The controls separation of in-game sound and chat really make this product. I have found games in the past you’ll forget to adjust in game sound and struggle to hear people. No issues using this, just turn the game sound down. It’s easy to set-up and the little pouch to tidy it away is another great addition. I will look to 4gamers products in the future for my PS3. Thanks guys.

2/9/2011 Rating: 5 Very good I use this headset all the time when playing call of duty black ops, as it makes it very easy to hear the other players foot steps, I have it connected to the audio out on my Tv as i use an HDMI cable so if i do not want to use them, I can still use the TV speakers, without adjusting any of the settings on the PS3.

Actually it was bought for the partner of the cousin, who was fed up of listening to the guns and mayhem from the PS3. Both are very happy. Peace has been restored to the household, aside from lots of jigging around from the game player, and the game player enjoys really good sound quality, apparently.

The sound quality although not surround sound is still amazing when playing games like Call of Duty, you can hear people creeping up behind you and the guns and explosions add to the excitement. Structurally the headset is good the ear cups are large and designed to be worn over the ears also the padding is really soft and comfortable as it comes in handy when gaming for long hours. The headband is also sturdy and doesn't and will not break unless you put alot of force into it. Overall this is a Amazing headset and there is honestly no point paying twice as much for a Turtle Beach Headset.
