6/10/2011 4:40 PM Rating: 5 So pleased. The sound quality is brilliant for in game and private chat, and perfect for an advantage in games such as Battlefield or Call of Duty, So much cheaper than Turtle Beach too, I would definitely buy these again.

5.0 out of 5 stars - A great headset - Amazon 11/08/2011. I purchased this headset having tried other makes and I can easily say that this is well worth £. The device is extremely easy to set up but connecting it all together at first will seem little annoying. I chose to buy a headset instead of having a Bluetooth earphone as I find them extremely uncomfortable. The device is connected via a USB cable and AV cables, please make sure that you still own the AV cables that came with the PS3 console when you purchased it, if not you will have to purchase another one. All of this is explained in tins manual that comes with the product, and the instructions are very well explained. I purchased this so I could talk to friends online and to play games late at night without the sound from the TV having to be low so I don't wake peope up. The quality of the game sound is very good and the chat is also good, the headset has a small control connected to the cable so you can set the chat levels and game sound levels as you wish. At first the headset will feel tight and rigid but that is only because the unit is new, after a number of uses you will notice that it stops felling tight, it becomes more complaint and form around your head. I am glad I chose this over the other makes, I recommend this to anyone wanting a well priced headset but if you are frustrated easily by cables then I suggest buying the CP-NC2 Stereo Gaming Headphones (PS3) The quality is as good as it is in this model but I purchased the NC1 because cables don't bother me.

Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars This really is a fantastic headset when it comes to the PS3, there is also a cheaper version available; CP-PRO (PS3), which is good however if you want my advice, I would suggest you spend that extra bit of money and go for this one or if you are willing to go even better, I suggest the CP-NC2 (PS3), both have great quality headphone speakers and microphone. Before purchasing this unit MAKE SURE you have the composite AV cable that came with your PS3 if your using a HDMI cable, if you're already using the AV cable then you wont need to worry about digging it out. If for some reason you can't find it, then you will need to buy one; AV Audio Video Cable Lead composite For PS1 PS2 PS3. I have uploaded a video to show you how to set this headset up (for people that use HDMI cables), however if you're just using the normal AV cable in the first place follow the same steps but just make sure you put the yellow cable in whereas the HDMI users do not. Watch all of the video if you don't know how to change the audio settings. Obviously the bad side to this product is that you have wires hanging out and isn't as "convenient" than a Bluetooth headset, but the pro's really do outweigh the cons, not only can you submerse yourself in the game with a nice rich sound, but you can also talk/hear your friends or gaming partners crystal clear. With a quick mute button to stop people from hearing you in split of a second and the easy adjustment of game/chat volume ratio, this gaming headset is a must.

Q1 I can't hear any Game Sound?

A1 Ensure you have the Red and White Phono plugs from the headset connected to an audio OUTPUT on your TV or to your PS3 systems AV Cable. Check that you have selected “4Gamers Official USB Headset” within your PS3 Systems “Audio Device Settings” menu and that “Audio Multi Out” is set to ON

Q2 People can’t hear me talking or my voice is very quiet?

A2 Set the Microphone level on your PS3 system to a higher setting within your PS3 Systems “Audio Device Settings” menu. Move the microphone closer to your mouth, we suggest approx. 1 to 3 cm as the ideal distance
